Members of Tri-State Multiples are participating in an Adopt-a-Soldier program designed to support and assist American Soldiers stationed overseas. More than twenty member families are supporting our troops by sending care packages overseas filled with necessity items as well as treats and letters to help keep up the morale of our soldiers while they are away from home. With members having family and friends overseas, we have heard first-hand the conditions these soldiers experience: waste, sewage, trash everywhere, children amist horrible devastation, unclean drinking water. And we've seen it in the pictures they send home. Many of these soldiers receive no mail or care packages. It takes so little to remind them how much we appreciate their sacrifice and how much they are appreciated. Families can use this opportunity as a teaching experience for our children, demonstrating to them the importance of charity, generosity, and community involvement. If old enough, children can help pick out items, help package them, and even draw pictures or write notes to the soldiers. As families of higher order multiples, TSM Members understand well how precious life is and how important it is to show our appreciation. As a family-based group, we are proud to participate in such a wonderful program and encourage others to join in if you are able. You DO NOT have to be a member of Tri-State Multiples to participate.

If you are unable to prepare packages but would like to contribute, we will gladly accept donations to be used towards care packages. Click on the Donate button below and indicate the amount of your donation. Donations made through Tri-State Multiples are tax deductible as this group is a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization.

All packages must be sent via The United States Postal Service. The USPS now offers a New Priority Mail Flat Rate Box as a way to send more and save on shipments to active military members at an APO/FPO address. Empty boxes can be ordered at no charge on-line in bulk (10 or 25) and delivered to your home for FREE at http://www.usps.com/supportingourtroops/. You will have to complete a customs form when shipping.
